Artistic practice is an essential part of my research. I experiment with creative forms of representation and engagement to both produce and communicate knowledge.

Below is a select gallery of artworks produced during fieldwork on Lord Howe Island, featuring the banyan forests, underwater atmospheres, and gnarled-mossy cloud forests that I encountered.

As an environmental anthropologist engaged with more-than-human ethnography, I find art-making to be a wonderful method that allows for deeper attention and contemplation of my non-human subjects.
